Accepting New Clients

Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed by emotions, discouraged by patterns they cannot seem to break, or frustrated that despite their best efforts, they keep finding themselves in the same place.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, without feeling judged, pressured, or expected to have everything figured out. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood and supported.

I am particularly drawn to working with people who feel overwhelmed by emotions, discouraged by recurring patterns, or frustrated that their actions are not always aligned with the person they want to be. I also have a particular interest in working with young adults as they navigate the transition into adulthood, changing relationships, and questions about what comes next. Together, we work toward building on strengths, navigating challenges more effectively, and creating meaningful change.

Sarah's Counselling Experience

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over a decade in the business world, including running my own company. That experience shaped my understanding of responsibility, uncertainty, setbacks, and the pressure many people feel while trying to build a meaningful life.

Today, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping clients recognize strengths they may have lost sight of and supporting them as they navigate setbacks, difficult emotions, and meaningful change.

More About Sarah

I value authenticity, humour, and genuine connection in both my personal and professional life. Outside of counselling, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading a page-turning mystery novel, going for walks along the seawall, and enjoying movies, TV, and music—though I'm more of an enthusiast than an aficionado.
