Accepting new clients in-person and virtually
Hello and welcome. There are times in our life when managing our mental health feels difficult, and I am dedicated to providing you with space and support as you are navigating life challenges.
Whether you’re coping with emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or traumatic memories that are still distressing, I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences and develop new ways of understanding and responding to them. I believe therapy is a partnership built on safety and trust, and I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals.
With 10 years of experience of working in the mental health field, I bring not only clinical expertise in EMDR, DBT, and CBT—but also the lived experience that shapes how I show up with clients.

Mina's Counselling Experience
I am a sensitive and attentive listener who cares deeply for the clients I am privileged to work with.
I have had a wide variety of experiences prior to entering private practice including: working as a mental health worker with those struggling with housing insecurity, working alongside families experiencing grief and end of life issues as well as working in the downtown eastside as a social worker providing brief counselling and system navigation. Most recently I have worked on a team working with youth providing DBT therapy, facilitating groups, providing counselling and case management.
More About Mina
I am a mother, a partner, and an immigrant, and I’ve walked through the complexities of war, transition, and infertility. These experiences have deepened my empathy as well as my belief that healing from terrible experiences is possible.
In my free time I love spending time with my young family, baking, doing yoga or urban jogging.
