How much does counselling cost?
$150 - $170 per 50 minute session (fees vary between counsellors), for sessions of different length please inquire directly.
We offer a limited sliding scale available on a case by case basis based on financial need. Please inquire directly.
Many health benefits plans will reimburse you for counselling services. Contact your plan provider before your first session to ensure that your plan covers a Registerd Social Worker (RSW) or a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
The cost of seeing a Registered Social Worker is eligible to be deducted as a medical practitioners for the purpose of the medical expenses tax credit through the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
April Griffin and Suvi Teigen are approved providers for the First Nations Health Authority Mental Wellness Program (FNHA). Learn more about our FNHA Mental Wellness Counselling.
April Griffin and Mila Loskutova provide counselling with the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP), additional top-up fees may apply in addition to the covered fee.

Cancellations
Cancellations between 48 and 24 hours will be charged 50% of the fee of the session, sessions with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee (this includes sickness, with the exception of hospitalization).
If an appointment is missed or cancelled late your credit card on file will be charged as. a result.
Confidentiality and Privacy
We value your privacy and will not share your information with any third party without your written consent according to PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the regulatory bodies and associations we belong to.
We are committed to keeping your information confidential. Confidentiality may only be breached when it is disclosed that you or someone else is at risk of serious harm, or if the record is subpoenaed by a court of law.
